Public Works operates and maintains the village water supply and sewer systems, ensuring safe drinking water and reliable wastewater service for all residents.

Water System
The village maintains the municipal water supply, distribution lines, water tower, and meters. For questions about water service, water quality, or to report a water main break, contact Village Hall.
Sewer System
The village sewer system collects and conveys wastewater for treatment. To report a sewer backup or issue, contact Village Hall immediately.
Streets
Public Works maintains village streets, including patching, repair, snow removal, and seasonal maintenance.
Street maintenance includes pothole repair, grading gravel roads, snow plowing, and coordinating with McLean County and IDOT on state and county roads within village limits. Contact Village Hall to report a street concern.
Sidewalks
The village coordinates sidewalk maintenance and replacement to ensure safe pedestrian access throughout Danvers.
Sidewalk repairs and replacement are coordinated by Public Works. If you notice a damaged or hazardous sidewalk, please report it to Village Hall so it can be assessed and prioritized for repair.
